General FAQs
What services do you offer?
We cover a wide range of design services including logos and brand identity, websites, signage, print design, vehicle graphics, apparel and more. We also manage production and installation where needed, so you’re not left trying to piece it all together yourself.
Do you only work with Wanaka clients?
Not at all. While we’re based in Wanaka and work with a lot of local businesses, we also work with clients across New Zealand and beyond. With today’s technology, it’s easy for us to connect remotely, whether that’s meeting online, sharing screens, reviewing work together or gathering feedback throughout the process.
Who will I be working with?
We’re a small, experienced two person team. You’ll be working directly with us, Charlotte and Sinéad, from start to finish, which keeps things personal, efficient and consistent.
Branding & Design
How much does a logo cost?
Every project is a little different, so pricing depends on what you need. We’ll usually provide a clear estimate or range upfront once we understand your business and scope.
What’s included in a logo or branding package?
Typically this includes logo concepts, revisions, final logo files for print and digital, and basic brand guidelines. We can also expand this into full brand systems depending on what you need.
How many concepts do I get?
We usually present a small number of well thought out concepts rather than lots of quick options. This keeps things focused and helps you make a clear decision.
Do you offer revisions?
Yes, revisions are part of the process. We’ll work through feedback with you to refine things, just keeping in mind that additional rounds or major changes may affect the final scope.
What if I already have a logo? Can you still help?
Absolutely. We often work with existing brands, whether that’s refining what you already have or creating additional pieces like business cards, signage, social media graphics, websites and more. We’ll make sure everything feels consistent and works well across all areas of your brand.
What happens if I’m not sure what I want yet?
That’s completely fine. Part of our job is helping you figure that out. We’ll ask the right questions and guide you toward a direction that suits your business.
Can you design things like business cards and other marketing materials?
Yes, we design a wide range of branded materials including business cards, brochures, flyers, signage, social media graphics and more. We can also organise printing and production so everything is consistent and ready to use.
I have a bespoke or unusual request, can you help?
Most likely, yes. We work across a wide range of projects and are always happy to look at something a bit different. If it’s outside our scope, we’ll point you in the right direction.
Can I just use AI to create my logo or branding?
AI can generate quick visuals, but it doesn’t take into account how your brand needs to function across real world applications. Things like print quality, signage, consistency and long term use often get overlooked.
We design with all of that in mind, so your brand not only looks good, but actually works across everything you need it for.
Websites
Do you design and build websites?
Yes, we design and build websites, typically using platforms that are easy for you to manage going forward. We focus on clean, functional sites that work well in the real world.
Can I update the website myself after it’s built?
Yes. We build sites so you can easily update text and images yourself. We can also provide guidance or help set things up so it’s straightforward.
How long does a website take?
This depends on the size and complexity, but most websites take a few weeks from start to finish once content is ready.
Print, Signage & Production
Do you organise printing and production?
Yes, we can manage the full process from design through to production. We handle a lot in house using our own machinery and also work with trusted suppliers where needed to ensure everything is produced to a high standard.
What types of physical products do you work with?
We work across a wide range including signage, window graphics, vehicle graphics, apparel, printed materials, flags, banners and more. If it carries your brand in the real world, we can usually help.
Can you install signage as well?
Yes, we have two installers and can arrange installation where needed, including travel and on-site application. If anything falls outside our scope, we work with trusted suppliers for more specialised installations.
Process & Timing
How soon can you start?
All new jobs typically commence within 5–10 working days, depending on the project. If something is urgent, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
How long will my project take?
Timelines vary depending on the scope and how quickly feedback is provided. We’ll give you a rough timeframe at the start so you know what to expect.
What do you need from me to get started?
The more you can provide upfront, the better, things like content, images, ideas and examples you like. It helps us get to a strong first draft faster and keeps things more cost effective.
How involved do I need to be in the process?
We’ll guide you through everything, but your input is important, especially early on and during feedback stages. The clearer the direction, the smoother the process.
What file formats will I receive?
You’ll receive the appropriate file types for both print and digital use. If you ever need something specific later on, just let us know.
Do you offer rush jobs?
If something is time sensitive, let us know. We’ll always do our best to fit it in or guide you on what’s possible within your timeframe.
Pricing & Payment
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 25% deposit for all new clients and all logo design projects before we begin.
How do you charge?
Every project is a little different, so there’s no one size fits all approach. We’ll usually ask a few questions upfront to get a clear understanding of what you need, then put together a tailored quote based on that. Our aim is to make sure you’re getting exactly what you need, without overcomplicating or overcharging. Everything is outlined clearly before we begin.
Can you work within a budget?
Yes, just let us know your budget upfront and we can guide what’s possible within that. We’ll always aim to recommend the best approach for what you need.
Ongoing Support
Can you help with future updates or new work?
Absolutely. We often work with clients long term, helping with everything from new marketing pieces to ongoing brand updates.
